Mic Fabus was born on the south side of Chicago amid the steel mills and shops of West Pullman. A setting that provided the inspiration and fuel for what would become his lifelong musical journey. By the age of 15 he was becoming a rising star in Chicago rock music circles. As a lead guitarist, he worked his way into the best studios where his signature style launched him on the road to concert stages, records, radio, television, and motion pictures.
Fabus is a singer/songwriter, music producer, and guitar master known for inventive finger style and his signature lead guitar. His songs hit you where you live with his mastery of melody, harmony, and storytelling. Mic Fabus songs have been cut by recording artists from around the world, with guest appearances on records and in feature films.
The Mic Fabus song catalog tops 200 titles. Many of the songs from his early period are being curated for release, including recordings with FAWN, Blue Ruin, Splitting Aces, and his solo releases from 1996-2018.
Personal Note: As of April 5th, I have removed my songs from the streaming platforms to focus on building a new platform that better suits my audience and music. Our new project is slated to launch in late 2024. Stay tuned!
